Communication technology makes people around the world communicate each other easily with low cost. The technology and cost are not barriers of communication but languages.
People in different countries speak different languages. If you want to contact people who do not use your language, you have to learn their languages.
To learn any languages, you have to learn two parts.

You need about 3,000 words in order to use a language fluently.
How long do you take to memorize 3,000 words ?

If you memorize a word a day. It takes 3,000 days or about 8 years. If you start learning a foreign language today and memorize a word a day, 8 years later you have 3,000 words of that language in your memory.

It should be so if there is no leakage. To memorize new vocabulary is similar to pour water into a bowl. If the bowl leaks, it will never be full.
If you memorize new vocabulary but forget the existing one, you will never get 3,000 words in you memory.
How is the leakage fixed ?
The best practice is to use vocabulary for listening, speaking, reading and writing every day. If you can't do so, I offer you a tool to fix the leakage.

because these books are written for children so the sentences are not complex. They are easy to read. The more you read, the more vocabulary you learn.

To practise pronunciation or speaking English with a native English teacher is the best practice to learn pronunciation/speaking.
However, it costs so high and may be impossible in some areas that there is no native English teacher.

native English speakers with lower cost. There are pictures and text in read along CD. It looks like a story book.
